Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
Even the highest ruler must practice restraint and uphold dharma by honoring Brahmins; disrespect invites severe consequences, as brahmanical spiritual power (brahma-bala/tejas) can bring ruin.
Vipula directly warns Indra (Śakra) not to repeat a wrongful act and urges him to respect the Brahmins, cautioning that otherwise Indra could be destroyed—along with his sons and ministers—by the force of brahmanical power.
