गुरुभ्यस्त्वासनं देयमभिवाद्याभिपूज्य च । गुरुम भ्यर्च्य वर्धन्ते आयुषा यशसा श्रिया
gurubhyas tv āsanaṁ deyam abhivādya abhipūjya ca | gurūn abhyarcya vardhante āyuṣā yaśasā śriyā ||
Bhishma dit : Après s’être incliné devant ses maîtres et les avoir honorés avec la révérence due, il faut leur offrir un siège. En servant le guru avec vénération, la durée de vie, la renommée et la prospérité d’un homme s’accroissent ; ainsi, l’accueil respectueux devient une pratique tangible du dharma.
