चित्रभानुमनड्वाहं देवं गोष्ठं चतुष्पथम् । ब्राह्मणं धार्मिकं वृद्ध ये कुर्वन्ति प्रदक्षिणम्
citrabhānum anaḍvāhaṃ devaṃ goṣṭhaṃ catuṣpatham | brāhmaṇaṃ dhārmikaṃ vṛddhaṃ ye kurvanti pradakṣiṇam ||
Bhīṣma dit : «Ceux qui, par révérence, gardent à leur droite (comme dans la pradakṣiṇā) le feu sacré, un taureau, les dieux, l’étable, le carrefour, un brahmane, un homme juste et un ancien, ceux-là sont comptés parmi les vertueux. L’enseignement rappelle que le dharma se vit en règles de conduite : honorer, avec humilité et protection, ce qui soutient la société et la vie spirituelle.»
