The verse commends a stable ethical disposition: maintaining unwavering respect and proper conduct toward brāhmaṇas (the learned and spiritually disciplined). It presents such reverence as a lasting ‘buddhi’—a guiding mindset—worthy of blessing.
Vāyudeva reports that the sage Durvāsā, radiant and fiery like blazing fire, departs and offers a final benediction to Keśava (Kṛṣṇa): that Kṛṣṇa’s attitude toward brāhmaṇas should always remain the same—steadfastly respectful and dharmic.
