तद् दृष्टवा महदाश्चर्य दाशार्हा जातमन्यव: । तत्राजल्पन् मिथ: केचित् समाभाष्य परस्परम्
tad dṛṣṭvā mahad āścaryaṃ dāśārhā jātamanyavaḥ | tatrājalpan mithaḥ kecit samābhāṣya parasparam |
À la vue de ce grand prodige, les Dāśārhas (les Yādavas) furent saisis de colère. Là, certains se mirent à parler entre eux, échangeant sur ce qui s’était passé, et s’émerveillant que seul un brahmane eût pu endurer un tel péril et demeurer vivant sur ce char.
