न च मे स्तोकमप्यासीद् दुःखमीकष्याकृतं तदा । तथा स राजमार्गेण महता निर्ययौ बहि:,उस समय मेरे मनमें थोड़ा-सा भी ईर्ष्याजनित दुःख नहीं हुआ। इसी अवस्थामें वे महलसे बाहर आकर विशाल राजमार्गसे चलने लगे
na ca me stokam apy āsīd duḥkham īkṣyākṛtaṃ tadā | tathā sa rājamārgeṇa mahatā niryayau bahiḥ ||
Vāyu dit : «En ce moment-là, pas la moindre peine née de l’envie ne s’éleva en mon esprit. Puis il sortit du palais et s’engagea sur la vaste voie royale.»
