ब्राह्मणा एव जायेरन् नान्यो वर्ण: कथंचन । को होन॑ रथमास्थाय जीवेदन्य: पुमानिह
brāhmaṇā eva jāyeran nānyo varṇaḥ kathaṃcana | ko hy enaṃ ratham āsthāya jīved anyaḥ pumān iha ||
Vāyu dit : «Que seuls des brahmanes naissent—qu’aucun autre ordre ne surgisse en aucune manière ! Car qui, en ce monde, hormis cet homme saint, aurait pu monter sur ce char et demeurer en vie ?»
