न चैकत्र समासक्तो न चैकग्रामगोचर: । मुक्तो हाटति निर्मुक्तो न चैकपुलिनेशय:
na caikatra samāsakto na caikagrāmago caraḥ | mukto hāṭati nirmukto na caikapulineśayaḥ ||
Śrī Maheśvara dit : «Que le renonçant ne s’attache pas à un seul lieu, qu’il ne restreigne pas sa vie à un seul village ; et qu’il ne dorme pas toujours sur la même berge du fleuve. Délivré des attachements, pleinement affranchi, qu’il chemine à son gré—sans liens, maître de soi, sans prise».
