मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
संख्यामतिगुणां चापि तेषु लोकेषु मोदते । उन सभी स्थानोंमें सफलमनोरथ होकर वह देवकन्याओंद्वारा पूजित होता है तथा जिस यज्ञमें बहुत-से सुवर्णकी दक्षिणा दी जाती है
saṅkhyām atiguṇāṁ cāpi teṣu lokeṣu modate |
Bhishma dit qu’un tel homme se réjouit dans ces mondes célestes dans une mesure qui dépasse tout calcul ordinaire. Tous ses désirs étant comblés, il est honoré et adoré par des jeunes filles divines, et il obtient le même mérite que celui d’un sacrifice où l’on donne d’abondantes offrandes d’or en dakṣiṇā. Pendant d’innombrables années, il jouit du bonheur en ces royaumes—affirmation que le don généreux, conforme au dharma, porte des fruits durables et sublimes.
