लोम्नां प्रमाणेन सम॑ ब्रह्मलोके महीयते । वह मनुष्य दो पताका (महापद्मा)

Transliteration

lomnāṁ pramāṇena samaṁ brahmaloke mahīyate |

Translation

Bhishma dit : On est honoré dans le Brahmaloka pendant une durée mesurée par le nombre de poils (lomāni), c’est-à-dire autant d’années qu’il y a de poils dans l’ensemble de peaux mentionné, indiquant une récompense prodigieusement longue, née du mérite, dans le plus haut séjour céleste.
