हिडिम्बं निहतं दृष्टवा संहृष्टास्ते तरस्विन: । अपूजयन् नरव्याप्रं भीमसेनमरिंदमम्,हिडिम्बको मारा गया देख वे महान् वेगशाली पाण्डव अत्यन्त हर्षसे उललसित हो उठे और उन्होंने शत्रुओंका दमन करनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ भीमसेनकी भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की
vaiśampāyana uvāca | hiḍimbaṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃhṛṣṭās te tarasvinaḥ | apūjayan naravyāghraṃ bhīmasenam arindamam ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Voyant Hiḍimba abattu, ces héros puissants et rapides furent comblés de joie. Ils honorèrent et louèrent Bhīmasena—tigre parmi les hommes, dompteur des ennemis—pour sa protection décisive du groupe et pour avoir écarté un péril redoutable.
