देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

ददाह तेजस्तच्छंभोः प्रान्तं वै शतयोजनम् अधस्ताच्चोर्ध्वतश्चैव हाहेत्यकृत भूतले
Transliteration
dadāha tejastacchaṃbhoḥ prāntaṃ vai śatayojanam adhastāccordhvataścaiva hāhetyakṛta bhūtale
Translation
La radiance flamboyante de Śambhu brûla la contrée sur cent yojanas; et, d’en bas comme d’en haut, à la surface de la terre, les êtres s’écrièrent : «Hélas ! Hélas !», accablés par cette puissance incréée (transcendante).
