उमामहेश्वरव्रतं—पञ्चाक्षरमन्त्रस्य माहात्म्यं, न्यासः, जपविधिः, सदाचारः, विनियोगः

हुत्वा च तावत्पालाशैर् एवं वारोग्यम् अश्नुते चन्द्रसूर्यग्रहे पूर्वम् उपोष्य विधिना शुचिः

Transliteration

hutvā ca tāvatpālāśair evaṃ vārogyam aśnute candrasūryagrahe pūrvam upoṣya vidhinā śuciḥ

Translation

Après avoir offert des oblations avec du bois de palāśa en telle mesure, on obtient une santé exempte de maladie. Lors d’une éclipse de lune ou de soleil, après avoir d’abord jeûné selon la règle et demeuré rituellement pur, qu’on accomplisse cette offrande comme il est prescrit.
