FAQs

It frames Śiva-arcana (including Liṅga-pūjā) as a direct means of pāpa-kṣaya—dissolving impurity that binds the paśu (individual soul) and preparing it for Śiva’s grace.

Śiva is implied as Pati—the auspicious remover of pāpa and bondage—whose worship purifies the paśu; his efficacy is also shown as inseparable from Devī (Śakti), the primordial power revered by all worlds.

Śiva-arcana (formal worship of Śiva/Liṅga) is highlighted as a purificatory discipline; in a Shaiva Siddhānta reading, it supports the yogic aim of loosening pāśa through devotion, mantra, and consecrated worship.
