Jyotish-chakra: Surya’s Motion and Monthly Retinues

अक्षः सहैकचक्रेण भ्रमते ऽसौ ध्रुवेरितः प्रेरको ज्योतिषां धीमान् ध्रुवो वै वातरश्मिभिः

Transliteration

akṣaḥ sahaikacakreṇa bhramate 'sau dhruveritaḥ prerako jyotiṣāṃ dhīmān dhruvo vai vātaraśmibhiḥ

Translation

Sous l’impulsion de Dhruva, l’essieu tourne avec l’unique roue. Dhruva, le sage, par des rayons pareils au vent, devient l’agent qui met en mouvement les lumières du ciel, révélant l’ordre cosmique établi par le Seigneur (Pati), sous la souveraineté duquel se meuvent tous les pashu.
