Suta Goswami
It frames the Sun’s motion as a divinely upheld cycle, encouraging devotees to align Linga-puja with sacred time (kāla) and seasonal rites, seeing Śiva as the inner regulator of all cosmic movements.
Though Śiva is not named directly, the verse implies an ordered, sustained cosmic circuit—pointing to Shiva-tattva as Pati, the sovereign principle that governs kāla and the revolutions of the jyotis while remaining transcendent.
Seasonal observances and time-conscious worship are implied—vratas, dana, and Linga-archana performed with awareness of dakṣiṇāyana; yogically, it hints at Pāśupata discipline that loosens the pasha of time by steady contemplation of the Lord beyond cycles.
