Adhyaya 40: Kali-yuga Lakshana, Yuga-sandhyamsha, and the Re-emergence of Dharma

चातुराश्रमशैथिल्ये धर्मः प्रतिचलिष्यति अरक्षितारो हर्तारो बलिभागस्य पार्थिवाः

cāturāśramaśaithilye dharmaḥ praticaliṣyati arakṣitāro hartāro balibhāgasya pārthivāḥ

Quand la discipline des quatre āśrama se relâche, le dharma commencera à chanceler. Les rois—faits pour protéger—deviendront des non-protecteurs et des pillards, s’emparant de la part due du peuple, le bali-bhāga, offrandes et taxes.
