ब्रह्मनारायणस्तवः — शिवस्य प्रभवत्व-प्रतिपादनम्

सुमेधसे कुलालाय नमस्ते शशिखण्डिने चित्राय चित्रवेषाय चित्रवर्णाय मेधसे

sumedhase kulālāya namaste śaśikhaṇḍine citrāya citraveṣāya citravarṇāya medhase

Salutations à Toi, le Suprêmement Sage; à Toi, le divin Potier qui façonnes les mondes; salutations à Celui qui porte la lune en diadème. Hommage à Toi, le Merveilleux, qui prends des formes et des parures merveilleuses, aux teintes innombrables—ô Intelligence même, reçois ma vénération.
