FAQs

This verse is genealogical and does not directly teach Ātman-doctrine; it supports the Purāṇic method of grounding later spiritual instruction by situating dharma within remembered lineages and exemplary ancestors.

No specific yoga practice is taught in this verse; it functions as a names-list within a dynasty section, while explicit yoga (including Pāśupata-oriented discipline and synthesis themes) is treated more directly elsewhere in the text.

It does not address Śiva–Viṣṇu theology directly; it is part of the historical-dynastic framework of the Purva-bhāga, which complements the Kurma Purāṇa’s later integrative theological teachings.
