रजोभि: समसङ्ख्याता: पार्थिवैरिह जन्तव: । तेषां ये केचनेहन्ते श्रेयो वै मनुजादय: ॥ ३ ॥

rajobhiḥ sama-saṅkhyātāḥ pārthivair iha jantavaḥ teṣāṁ ye kecanehante śreyo vai manujādayaḥ

Dans ce monde matériel, il y a autant d’êtres vivants que d’atomes sur la terre. Parmi eux, très peu sont des humains, et parmi les humains, peu s’intéressent à suivre les principes du dharma.
