The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
त्वं तु मद्धर्ममास्थाय ज्ञाननिष्ठ उपेक्षक: । मन्मायारचितामेतां विज्ञायोपशमं व्रज ॥ ४९ ॥
tvaṁ tu mad-dharmam āsthāya jñāna-niṣṭha upekṣakaḥ man-māyā-racitām etāṁ vijñayopaśamaṁ vraja
Quant à toi, Dāruka, prends refuge dans mon dharma et demeure ferme dans la bhakti envers moi, établi dans la connaissance spirituelle et détaché des choses matérielles. Sachant que ces jeux sont une manifestation de ma māyā, demeure dans la paix.
According to Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī, the word tu here emphasizes that Dāruka is an eternally liberated associate of Lord Kṛṣṇa, having descended from Vaikuṇṭha. Therefore, even though others might be bewildered by the Lord’s pastimes, Dāruka should remain peaceful and fixed in spiritual knowledge.
