Bhāgavata-Māhātmya and the Complete Summary of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
This verse highlights that the Bhagavatam’s narration includes complete ātma-vidyā and a clear determination of dharma—presented as essential guidance for liberation.
It frames the dynasty’s destruction as occurring ‘under the pretext’ of a brāhmaṇa’s curse, emphasizing the Lord’s purposeful withdrawal of His earthly pastimes while honoring dharma and brāhmaṇical words.
Cultivate steady spiritual practice and self-realization (ātma-yoga) so identity shifts from temporary body to the Self—reducing fear, attachment, and anxiety, and strengthening devotion and dharmic living.
