Bhāgavata-Māhātmya and the Complete Summary of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
This verse highlights that the Yādavas’ destruction occurred under the pretext of a brāhmaṇa’s curse—an arrangement through which the Lord concluded His earthly pastimes and withdrew His dynasty.
The verse points to Uddhava’s celebrated dialogue (the teachings given to Uddhava), which preserves profound devotional and spiritual instruction connected with the Lord’s final pastimes.
It teaches detachment and trust in divine arrangement: even great worldly structures end, so one should prioritize bhakti and lasting spiritual knowledge.
