Kriyā-yoga, the Virāṭ-Puruṣa Mapping, and the Sun-God’s Monthly Expansions
Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 12.11.38 lists Vivasvān, Ugrasena, Vyāghra, Āsāraṇa, Bhṛgu, Anumlocā, and Śaṅkhapāla as the presiding administrators for the month called Nabhasya.
He is explaining the structure of time and cosmic administration—showing that the flow of months and seasons operates under divinely appointed beings, reinforcing that kāla (time) functions under the Supreme Lord’s governance.
By remembering that time is sacred and regulated, one can live more consciously—aligning daily and monthly routines with dharma and bhakti, and using time as an offering to the Lord rather than wasting it.
