श्रीशुक उवाच एकदा तु सभामध्य आस्थितो मुनिभिर्वृत: । ब्राह्मणै: क्षत्रियैर्वैश्यैर्भ्रातृभिश्च युधिष्ठिर: ॥ १ ॥ आचार्यै: कुलवृद्धैश्च ज्ञातिसम्बन्धिबान्धवै: । शृण्वतामेव चैतेषामाभाष्येदमुवाच ह ॥ २ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca ekadā tu sabhā-madhya āsthito munibhir vṛtaḥ brāhmaṇaiḥ kṣatriyair vaiśyair bhrātṛbhiś ca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī dit : Un jour, au milieu de l’assemblée royale, le roi Yudhiṣṭhira était assis, entouré de sages, de brāhmaṇas, de kṣatriyas et de vaiśyas, ainsi que de ses frères. Tandis que les maîtres spirituels, les anciens du clan, les parents, alliés et amis écoutaient, il s’adressa au Seigneur Śrī Kṛṣṇa et parla ainsi.
