उपर्यधश्चात्मनि गोत्रनेत्रयो: परेण ते प्राविशता समेधिता: । ममन्थुरब्धिं तरसा मदोत्कटा महाद्रिणा क्षोभितनक्रचक्रम् ॥ १३ ॥
upary adhaś cātmani gotra-netrayoḥ pareṇa te prāviśatā samedhitāḥ mamanthur abdhiṁ tarasā madotkaṭā mahādriṇā kṣobhita-nakra-cakram
Encouragés par le Seigneur, présent au-dessus et au-dessous de la montagne et entré dans les devas, les asuras, Vāsuki et même la montagne, les devas et les asuras, presque ivres de désir du nectar, barattèrent avec fougue l’Océan de Lait au moyen de la grande montagne. La mer fut si violemment agitée que les crocodiles en furent troublés, mais le barattage se poursuivit.
