Aditi’s Payo-vrata and Viṣṇu’s Promise to Appear as Her Son
Prelude to Vāmana

This verse states that the Supreme Lord, the original Person, manifested from Aditi, revealing His divine four-armed form with conch, discus, and mace.
He highlights the unmistakable identity of Bhagavān Viṣṇu—His eternal, transcendental form and royal insignia—showing that the appearance is fully divine, not ordinary birth.
Meditating on the Lord’s revealed form strengthens faith and steadies devotion, reminding one that divine protection and guidance are real and accessible through bhakti.
