Sukta 31
यां ते चक्रुः पुरुषास्थे अग्नौ संकसुके च याम्। म्रोकं निर्दाहं क्रव्यादं पुनः प्रति हरामि ताम्
yā́ṃ te cakrúḥ púruṣāsthe agnáu sáṃkasuke ca yā́m | mrokáṃ nirdāháṃ kravyā́daṃ púnaḥ práti harāmi tā́m ||
What they have wrought against thee on a man’s seat, what in the fire, and what in the saṃkasuka; the wasting, the consuming burn, the flesh-devouring power—this do I take and bear back again in return.
Ce que des hommes ont fait contre toi — sur le siège d’un homme, dans le feu, et dans le saṃkasuka —, l’épuisement, la brûlure dévorante, la puissance mangeuse de chair : cela, je le saisis et, en retour, je le rapporte en arrière.
