य उ॒परि॑ष्टा॒ज्जुह्व॑ति जातवेद ऊ॒र्ध्वाया॑ दि॒शोऽभि॒दास॑न्त्य॒स्मान्। सूर्य॑मृ॒त्वा ते परा॑ञ्चो व्यथन्तां प्र॒त्यगे॑नान् प्रतिस॒रेण॑ हन्मि
yé uparíṣṭāj juhváti jātáveda ūrdhvā́yā diśó ’bhidā́santy asmā́n | sū́ryam ṛtvā́ té parā́ñco vyathantāṃ pratyagé́nān pratisaréṇa hanmi
Whoso from above maketh offering, O Jātavedas,—the upper regions assail us: taking the Sun for the effective stay, let them, turned away, be shaken; with the returning counter-force, with the Pratisara, I smite them down.
Quiconque, d’en haut, fait l’offrande, ô Jātavedas,—les régions supérieures nous assaillent. Prenant Sūrya (le Soleil) pour appui efficace, qu’ils se détournent et tremblent; par la contre-force qui revient, avec le Pratisara, je les abats.
