चन्द्रमा अप्स्व१न्तरा सुपर्णो धावते दिवि। न वो हिरण्यनेमयः पदं विन्दन्ति विद्युतो वित्तं मे अस्य रोदसी

IAST Transliteration

candramā́ apsv àntárā supárṇo dhā́vate diví | ná vo hiraṇya-némayaḥ padáṃ víndanti vidyúto vittáṃ mé asyá ródasī

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The Moon, within the waters, the fair-winged, speedeth in the heaven. Your golden-rimmed lightnings find not the track: for me, of this, the two Worlds are the possession (and witness).

Translation

La Lune, au sein des eaux, la belle‑ailée, se hâte dans le ciel. Vos éclairs aux bords d’or ne trouvent pas la trace ; pour moi, en cela, les deux Mondes (rodasī) sont possession et témoignage.
