ऊर्जो भागो य इमं जजानाश्मान्नानामाधिपत्यं जगाम । तमर्चत विश्वमित्रा हविर्भिः स नो यमः प्रतरं जीवसे धात्
ūrjó bhāgó yá imáṃ jajā́nāśmānām ā́dhipatyaṃ jagā́ma | tám arcata viśvámitrā havírbhiḥ sá no yamáḥ prataráṃ jīváse dhāt ||
The share of nourishment—he who begat this, who hath attained lordship over the stones—him honor ye, O all-friends, with oblations: may that Yama establish us the more securely for living on.
La part de nourriture (ūrj) — celui qui a engendré ceci, qui a atteint la souveraineté sur les pierres — honorez-le, ô Amis-de-tous (viśvamitrá), par les oblations (havis) ; que ce Yama nous établisse plus sûrement pour vivre, pour demeurer en vie.
