अपूपवान् घृतवांश्चरुरेह सीदतु । लोककृतः पथिकृतो यजामहे ये देवानां हुतभागा इह स्थ
apūpavā́n ghr̥tavā́ṁś carúr eha sī́datu | lokakŕ̥taḥ pathikŕ̥to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṁ hutabhā́gā ihá stha ||
Let the cooked oblation, furnished with cake and rich in ghee, sit down here. We sacrifice unto the World-makers, the Path-makers—those who, of the Gods, possess a share in the offered gift—be ye here present.
Qu’ici s’asseye le caru, l’offrande cuite, pourvue d’apūpa (gâteau sacrificiel), riche de ghee. Nous sacrifions aux Faiseurs du monde, aux Faiseurs des voies (Lokakṛt, Pathikṛt)—à ceux qui, parmi les dieux, ont part à l’offrande; soyez ici présents.
