तस्येदं वर्चस्तेजः प्राणमायुर्नि वेष्टयामीदमेनमधराञ्चं पादयामि

IAST Transliteration

tásya idáṃ várcas téjaḥ prāṇám ā́yur ní veṣṭayāmi idám enam adharā́ñcam pādayāmi

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This lustre of his, this fiery might, his breath, his life—these I wrap and wind about; this man I make downward-turned, I force him down beneath.

Translation

Son éclat, sa puissance ardente, son souffle, sa vie — tout cela, je l’enveloppe et l’enroule; cet homme, je le tourne vers le bas, je le fais descendre au-dessous.
