Sukta 9
यत् ते यकृद् ये मतस्ने यदान्त्रं याश्च ते गुदाः । आमिक्षां दुह्रतां दात्रे क्षीरं सर्पिरथो मधु
yát te yakṛ́d yé matásne yád ā́ntraṃ yā́ś ca te gudā́ḥ | āmíkṣāṃ duhratāṃ dātré kṣīráṃ sarpír átho mádhu
What is thy liver, thy kidneys, what thy intestines, and thy lower passages—let these milk into the vessel clotted milk: milk, and ghee, and honey besides.
Ce qui est en toi le foie, ce qui est les reins, ce qui est les entrailles et ce qui sont les voies d’en bas—que tout cela soit trait dans le récipient (dātra) en āmiḳṣā : du lait, du beurre clarifié (sarpis) et, en plus, du miel.
