Related Themes: Agni Purana 278 (Ghṛta-kalpa/rasayana sequence)
Ayurvedic formulation-knowledge: a vacā-siddha (herb-processed) medicated ghee, supported by madhuka and related extracts, used as a rasāyana for ageing signs and for bhūta-doṣa type afflictions.
It shows the Purana functioning as a compendium beyond mythology—preserving practical Ayurveda (pharmacology and ghṛta-kalpa) alongside theology, thereby documenting medical recipes and their indicated effects.
By prescribing a remedy for bhūta-doṣa, the verse frames healing as purification from subtle afflictions; restoring clarity and vitality supports dharmic living and steady performance of religious duties.
