Ayurvedic chikitsā: it prescribes specific foods (bottle-gourd, cucumber, wheat) and adjuvants (milk, sugarcane-juice, ghee) plus suitable drinks (rice-gruel, surā, etc.) as diet-therapy for mūtrakṛcchra (dysuria).
It shows the Agni Purana functioning as a practical compendium beyond theology—preserving clinical-style guidance on urinary disorders, dietetics, and drink prescriptions within its broad coverage of sciences (vidyās) like Ayurveda.
By promoting health-preserving, non-harmful regimen (pathya), the instruction supports dharma through bodily well-being—enabling purity of conduct, steadiness in vows, and continuity of daily religious duties without impairment from illness.
