मसूरसुद्गौ पेयार्थे भोज्या जिर्णाश् च शालयः निम्बपर्पटकैः शाकैर् जाङ्गलानां तथा रसः
masūrasudgau peyārthe bhojyā jirṇāś ca śālayaḥ nimbaparpaṭakaiḥ śākair jāṅgalānāṃ tathā rasaḥ
Pour préparer une bouillie claire (peya), les lentilles et le haricot mungo (mudga) conviennent ; et l’on doit aussi consommer du riz śāli bien vieilli. De même, sont recommandées des préparations de légumes avec le neem et le parpaṭaka, ainsi que le jus/bouillon de viande d’animaux des terres sèches et ouvertes (jāṅgala).
