Agni Purana, Chapter 259: Yajur-vidhāna

It prescribes two result-oriented homas: a tila-homa with the mantra “imā rudrāya…” for acquiring wealth, and a dūrvā-homa accompanied by specific syllables (ga, gha, ña) for removal of diseases.
It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s practical, catalog-like presentation of applied ritual technology—linking specific mantras and materials (sesame, dūrvā) to concrete outcomes (prosperity, health), blending dharma, mantra-śāstra, and proto-therapeutic aims.
The verse frames prosperity and health as attainable through disciplined, mantra-guided offerings—implying purification, propitiation of deities (notably Rudra), and the accumulation of merit (puṇya) that supports worldly well-being.
