Vingt-cinq, et de même huit, cinq et trois, chacun selon son ordre. Ensuite seront exposées, en correspondance, la nature essentielle (tattva) de ces catégories et les seigneurs qui les président—à commencer par Indra—dans la suite.

Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Cosmology","secondary_vidya":"Philosophy","practical_application":"Use tattva-counts (25/8/5/3) to structure meditation, nyāsa, and deity-mapping; assign presiding deities (starting with Indra etc.) to each category for ritual and contemplative clarity.","sutra_style":true}

Concept: Tattva-nirūpaṇa through saṅkhyā (enumerative ontology) coupled with īśvara/adhipati correspondences.
Application: Create a personal study/ritual schema: list principles by count, then attach presiders for japa, nyāsa, and visualization, ensuring consistent progression.
Khanda Section: Tattva-nirupana (Cosmology of principles and their presiding deities)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A schematic mandala/diagram showing four grouped counts: 25 principles in a ring, then 8, then 5, then 3 at the center; small deity emblems around, with Indra highlighted as the first presider in the sequence.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural, large circular tattva-mandala with concentric rings labeled 25/8/5/3, deity icons in medallions, bold geometry and saturated colors, encyclopedic diagram feel","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore, ornate concentric mandala with gold leaf on ring borders, central triad glowing, small deity figures including Indra in corner cartouches, rich jewel tones","mysore_prompt":"Mysore style, clean educational cosmology chart with concentric circles and numbered segments, subtle deity mini-icons, emphasis on clarity and order","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature, scholar-sage presenting a painted cosmology chart to disciples, the chart showing 25/8/5/3 rings, fine detailing, manuscript-illustration aesthetic"}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Related Themes: Agni Purana 96 (tattva-nirūpaṇa continuation after this verse)
It sets up a technical classification of reality into groups (25, 8, 5, 3) and announces their mapping to presiding deities (adhidevatas) such as Indra, which is foundational for cosmological and deity-correspondence teachings.
By organizing metaphysical principles numerically and linking them to divine administrators, it demonstrates the Purana’s compendium style—systematizing philosophy, theology, and cosmology in a structured, reference-like format.
Understanding tattvas and their presiding deities is traditionally held to refine discernment (viveka) and support correct devotional orientation, aligning one’s practice with the ordered structure of the cosmos.
