FAQs

It prescribes vighna-nivāraṇa (banishing ritual obstacles from celestial/atmospheric/terrestrial domains) followed by the correct sequence of entering via the western door and ritually indicating the other doors.

It exemplifies the text’s procedural detailing of temple/mandala practice—covering protective rites, spatial rules (doors/directions), and step-by-step liturgical conduct alongside its many other disciplines.

Removing vighnas before entry safeguards the rite from disruption, supports ritual purity, and aligns the practitioner with auspicious directional order—thereby helping ensure the intended religious merit (puṇya) of the ceremony.
