It teaches shuddhi-vidhi: performing malasnāna (purificatory bathing) empowered by the Astra-mantra ending in “hūṃ phaṭ,” and using pañcagavya and pañcāmṛta as sanctioned purifying substances.
It preserves a practical, step-based ritual technology—mantra application plus specific purificatory mixtures (pañcagavya, pañcāmṛta)—showing the text’s compendium style that spans liturgy, expiation, and procedural worship details.
The instruction frames impurity-removal as both physical and subtle: mantra (hūṃ phaṭ) is used to ward off/“cut” defilement, while sacred substances support ritual eligibility, purity in worship, and the restoration of dharmic fitness.
