Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Bindu-Dhyāna and Saptadhā Krama of Prāṇa-Saṃyoga","lookup_keywords":["bindu-dhyāna","saptadhā","krama","prāṇa-saṃyoga","sūkṣma-śarīra"],"quick_summary":"Meditate on the object as a bindu and advance in a sevenfold sequence, beginning with the essential form of prāṇa-union and proceeding through subsequent contemplative stages."}

Concept: Ekāgratā via bindu as an ālambana; disciplined krama (staged method) transforms prāṇa-awareness into stable contemplative realization.

Application: Use bindu visualization (at heart/crown or chosen locus) to refine attention; follow a consistent seven-step internal protocol (as taught by one’s tradition) rather than improvising, ensuring gradual deepening.

FAQs

It teaches a yogic/tantric dhyāna method: concentrate the mind on a bindu (point-focus) and contemplate prāṇa-saṃyoga in a structured seven-stage progression.

Alongside ritual, law, and other sciences, the Agni Purana also preserves practical yogic technology—here, a stepwise meditation protocol (krama) centered on bindu-focus and prāṇa integration.

By stabilizing attention (bindu-dhyāna) and integrating prāṇa in ordered stages, the practitioner cultivates inner purification, mental steadiness, and readiness for deeper realization.
