Chapter 78 — पवित्रारोहणकथनं

Pavitrārohaṇa: Installing the Sanctifying Thread/Garland

प्रोक्षणाद्यं विधायाथ यज्ञसम्भारकृन्नरः मन्त्रयेद्दर्भदूर्वाद्यैः पुष्पाद्यैश् च हृदादिभिः

prokṣaṇādyaṃ vidhāyātha yajñasambhārakṛnnaraḥ mantrayeddarbhadūrvādyaiḥ puṣpādyaiś ca hṛdādibhiḥ

Après avoir d’abord accompli le prokṣaṇa (aspersion purificatrice) et les préliminaires connexes, celui qui a préparé les accessoires du sacrifice doit ensuite consacrer (par les mantras) l’herbe kuśa-darbha, l’herbe dūrvā, les fleurs et autres, au moyen du mantra Hṛd et des autres mantras des aṅga.
