Chapter 70 — वृक्षादिप्रतिष्ठाकथनम्

Consecration of Trees and Related Objects

इन्द्रादेरधिवासो ऽथ होमः कार्यो वनस्पतेः वृक्षमध्यादुत्सृजेद्गां ततो ऽभिषेकमन्त्रतः

indrāderadhivāso 'tha homaḥ kāryo vanaspateḥ vṛkṣamadhyādutsṛjedgāṃ tato 'bhiṣekamantrataḥ

Ensuite, on accomplira l’adhivāsa d’Indra et des autres divinités; et l’on offrira un homa à Vanaspati, seigneur de la végétation. Du milieu de l’arbre, on relâchera une vache, puis l’on procédera à l’aspersion-consécration (abhiṣeka) selon les mantras d’abhiṣeka.
