The Account of the Consecration of Wells and Other Water-Works
उत्थाप्य नागपृष्ठाद्यैर् भ्रामयेत्तैः समङ्गलैः आपो हि ष्ठेति च क्षिपेत्त्रिमध्वाक्ते घटे जले
utthāpya nāgapṛṣṭhādyair bhrāmayettaiḥ samaṅgalaiḥ āpo hi ṣṭheti ca kṣipettrimadhvākte ghaṭe jale
L’ayant soulevé, on le fera tourner avec des objets de bon augure tels que le nāga-pṛṣṭha et autres; puis, en récitant le mantra « āpo hi ṣṭhā… », on jettera la substance/la fleur sanctifiante dans l’eau d’un pot (ghaṭa) adoucie par les « trois miels » (tri-madhu).
