The Account of the Consecration of Wells and Other Water-Works

It teaches the sequence for sajīvīkaraṇa: begin worship from the mūla (base), repeat offerings with fragrances, perform pūjā in the maṇḍapa as earlier prescribed, and complete the rite through homa in the kuṇḍas using samid and related oblations.
It preserves a precise, procedural manual for consecration/restoration rites—linking pavilion worship (maṇḍapa-pūjā) with fire-altar operations (kuṇḍa-homa)—showing the text’s coverage of applied ritual engineering alongside its many other disciplines.
By correctly restoring sacred vitality (sajīvīkaraṇa) through ordered worship and homa, the practitioner is understood to re-establish purity, presence, and efficacy of the sacred installation, generating merit through disciplined, scripture-aligned ritual action.
