FAQs

It enumerates a specific set of deities to be invoked in the same prescribed manner within a pūjā/pratiṣṭhā sequence—especially forms of Śiva-Śakti, allied deities, and the Grahas, indicating a ritual checklist for comprehensive installation and appeasement.

By cataloging multiple deity-classes—sectarian syntheses (Hari-Śaṅkara), śākta groups (Mātṛkās), fierce forms (Bhairava), solar and astral deities (Sūrya, Grahas), and Vināyaka—it functions like a ritual index that integrates theology, iconography, and practical worship protocol.

Including Vināyaka and the Grahas alongside major deities reflects the aim of removing obstacles and harmonizing planetary influences, thereby supporting ritual completeness, protection, and the accrual of religious merit through properly ordered worship.
