Application: In consecrations, pair oblations with appropriate gifts and conclude with the specified empowerment step rather than stopping at the fire-offering alone.

FAQs

It prescribes homa materials (samid, lāja, tila, etc.) and adds an ancillary gifting step (śayyā and related dāna), culminating in bestowing the named supporting rite/empowerment called Ādhāra-śaktikā.

It functions like a procedural ritual manual: it lists specific oblation-substances, integrates dāna (ritual gifting) with sacrifice, and preserves specialized terminology (e.g., Ādhāra-śaktikā), reflecting the text’s wide-ranging, technical coverage of worship-practice.

Correctly performed homa with prescribed offerings, together with dāna, is presented as a reinforcing (ādhāra) act that supports the sacrifice—aimed at purification, merit (puṇya), and stabilizing the efficacy of the rite.
