Lord Agni (in discourse to Sage Vasiṣṭha, as typical for Agni Purāṇa instructional chapters)

Related Themes: Agni Purana 59 (chakra/lotus mandala sequence; internal worship)
It teaches a precise dhyāna-technique: visualizing a powerful triad (tritaya) at the navel center and establishing a twelve‑petaled lotus there as the meditative support (cakra-padma).
Beyond myths and rites, it preserves practical yogic/tantric subtle-body mapping (nābhi-padma, petal counts, visualization protocol), showing the Purāṇa’s coverage of meditation technology alongside ritual and doctrine.
Concentrating on the navel-lotus is presented as a purifying inner rite that stabilizes prāṇa and mind, supporting disciplined practice and spiritual ascent through ordered contemplation.
