Chapter 101 — प्रासादप्रतिष्ठा (Prāsāda-pratiṣṭhā): Consecration and Installation of the Temple
Lord Agni (teaching to sage Vasiṣṭha in the Agni Purana’s instructional dialogue)

Related Themes: Agni Purana 101 (Puja-vidhi / Tantra-yoga mudrā-dhāraṇā section)
It teaches Rodha-mudrā as a practical method of restraint—placing the body correctly and using a mudrā to control the senses/breath, coupled with focused contemplation on Puruṣa.
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves applied ritual-yogic technique (mudrā + dhāraṇā/meditation), illustrating the Agni Purana’s coverage of tantra, worship procedure, and inner discipline as technical instruction.
Restraint through mudrā and meditation stabilizes the mind and senses, supporting purity (śuddhi) and concentration—key conditions for effective worship and for aligning the individual self with the Supreme Puruṣa.
